Workspaces

A workspace is a saveable canvas of widgets over a model's scenarios. The landing screen's own summary: "Saveable analysis canvases. Pick a quick-start, describe what you want, or open an existing workspace."

Three ways to a canvas

Quick-start presets:

• Single-scenario review — KPI grid, executive narrative, production breakdown, recent changes; bound to your most recent solved scenario.
• Compare scenarios — KPI deltas, binding-constraint heatmap, period waterfall; defaults to Base vs alternatives.
• Infeasibility analysis — infeasibility tree plus analysis narrative; auto-binds to the first infeasible scenario.

Describe what you want. Type an intent and click Have RIA build it. RIA designs the tiles and layout using only data your model actually has (usually 15–40 s), shows you the plan, then Create + open.

By hand. New blank workspace, then Add widget from the catalog.

Explore data

Explore data browses "the data this scenario actually solved" — sales, costs, hours, trends. Pick any source and choose how to see it: Metric, Table, Bar, Line, Area, Pie, or Breakdown. Each drops onto the canvas as a tile you can resize, move, or remove; add as many as you like.

RIA on an existing canvas

• Propose with RIA — a fresh widget bundle from an intent. Accepting replaces the current widgets (use Refine to tweak instead).
• Refine with RIA — targeted edits that keep the rest intact: "Add a data table showing weekly sales by product", "Swap the change timeline for a binding constraint heatmap". You see what changed — new, removed, N preserved — before Apply edit.
• Describe a widget — one widget from one sentence ("Show spoilage by product", "Revenue by period"). The dialog's own promise: "Only what the model exposes is offered: never a guess." Live preview, then Add widget.

Scenario context

The picker bar binds the canvas: an active Scenario, an optional Compare set (Pick top 3 by objective), and New what-if to branch straight from the canvas. Widgets bound to the scenario refresh when you switch.

The widget catalog

Six categories — Insight, Data, Narrative, Collaboration, Decision, AI — covering KPI cards and grids, production breakdowns, infeasibility trees, change timelines, executive narratives, financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow), network-flow diagrams, facility maps, service-level and spoilage views, and more. Add widget searches the catalog by name, kind, or description.

Workspaces save with the model, support Fullscreen presentation, and can be bound into workflow runs as stage analyses.
